De La Grenade Nutmeg Garden For more than 50 years, the Nutmeg Garden at De La Grenade has been processing the nutmeg pericarp fruit into a vast range of products, from liqueurs & jams to sauces & syrups. A visit to the garden offers the chance to see the fruits, spices, herbs & plants that go into making these tasty foods. Located right in St. Paul's, this breathtaking 2-acre garden is expertly landscaped & organized with aromatic fruit trees & a diverse array of flowers. Stroll through the nutmeg shell carpeted paths to observe labeled plants & then taking in an awe-inspiring view of the Mt. Gozeau forest reserve, which is right across from the De La Grenade factory. Along the way, the garden tour guide will offer fascinating information about the plants around you. You can even pick one of the fruits to savor the authentic tropical flavor of Grenada.
Hyde Park Tropical Garden The grounds at Hyde Park Tropical Garden have come a long way from what they once were. Set right in the capital of St. Georges, this small estate used to only have a miniscule flower garden, with the rest of the property consisting of trees & pasture land for the cattle. Still, it only took several years for this land to become one of the most beautiful gardens on the island. Tours are booked by appointment only, so be sure to contact the garden to observe for yourself what can be achieved in such a short span of time. Maco Caribbean recommended scheduling a tour at sunset – not only is this the best light  to observe the plants, but you'll also get to sip a glass of wine on the verandah with Fay Miller, whose family has resided here for six generations.
