I always wanted to see the world and got the great opportunity to move from Holland to one of the most beautiful vacation destinations of the world, the Riviera Maya in Mexico. With great pleasure I worked one year for Occidental Hotels and the last five years for the El Dorado Resorts & Spas and the Azul Hotels. My journey has changed again, and I would love to share with you all my experiences and help you make sure you have the most amazing and memorable vacations!

My experience in Mexico started in Playa del Carmen, which has been my hometown for the past several years. Playa del Carmen is about one hour south of Cancun. I have visited Cancun many times, as well as, the islands of Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and Holbox. The different attractions I visited that are a must-do are Chichen Itza (one of the Seven World Wonders), Tulum, Xcaret and Xel-Ha.


I also got the opportunity to enjoy other experiences like parasailing (amazing!) and swimming with the dolphins, two awesome unforgettable memories!


One of my best friends lives in Costa Rica where I got to spend my most recent vacation. I stayed in the area of Guanacaste near Liberia. Astounding and a must-go place if you are interested in natural habitat wonders. The mountains have astonishing views and the green landscapes are striking! We did the canopy tour which I would highly recommend.

As I mentioned, I am originally from Holland and my family still live there. Here you see me and my boyfriend at Dam Square in Amsterdam when I took him home to meet my family and friends. Of course, we also explored all the other attractions that make Holland so special! Other counties I have discovered in Europe are Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and the Islands of Tenerife and Mallorca. Working for El Dorado Resorts & Spa and Azul Hotels, I got the opportunity to travel a lot to the United States and have visited most major cities, so my travel adventures are not limited and I can offer advice and share personal stories, so that you can choose the right destination for you and your family!
