We had a fantastic time at Grand Velas! It was a perfect spot for us because all we wanted to do was relax. The weather was wonderful during the day (sunny) and then it would rain at night. We actually liked it like that, it was great to sit on the patio and watch it rain. We were delayed in Dallas on the arrival due to bad weather, so we did not get into PVR until around 6ish, but that was the only travel problem.
The spa was our favorite. We did the couples massage, scalp massage, and foot massages. It was top notch.
We went into town one night and ate at Pipi's restaurant. They have the biggest margarita's I have ever seen. Very good food too!
We were treated like royalty and most workers new us by name. I would say the resort was under 25% full, but that was perfect. No conventions, few children and the restaurants were great.
I have no complainants and would definitely go back. Thanks for working with us and we look forward to working with you in the future.
