Thanks to Elise of Beach Bum Vacation we had the perfect wedding and the honeymoon of a lifetime. Elise made sure that everything went according to my plans. She wasn’t just my travel coordinator she was my wedding planner! Elise went above and beyond the call of duty to assist us in meeting every need!

The staff at Sandals showed us so much love we felt at home. We had a gardener named Byron that brought us fresh coconut water every morning just because my husband mentioned that he was from Jamaica and missed drinking fresh coconut water. The restaurant staff at Orchids went out of their way to serve my husband ackee and salt fish for breakfast. Everyone was just so great!  The food was exquisite at all of the restaurants, we ate at a different one every night. The jerk chicken was so delicious we ate it everyday for lunch sometimes twice a day to snack on.

We had such a fabulous time at Sandals we plan to return to celebrate our Anniversary this year and every year to come. If you are planning a destination wedding or vacation I highly recommend that you book it with Elise of Beach Bum Vacations, she will make sure that all of needs are met and that you have an absolute fabulous time.

Everything went well. We had an absolutely FABULOUS time and did not want to return home.  They upgraded our room to Bay Roc #1463 @ the end, it was a real treat and we loved it.  It was quiet, on the 1st floor and we walked out and onto the beach.  We felt like royalty for the time we were there.  We met Horace Peterkin the GM and also attended the cocktail party and dinner for Signature Guests.  That, too, was a wonderful experience.  We have entrusted Becky Simone of Beach Bum Vacation with all our travel needs throughout the years.  Becky has never let us down, and plans everything out to the last detail.   Beaches Sandy Bay and Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica were Becky's recommendations.   We are now "Sandals Signature Guests" and plan on returning again and again.  Our family loves and looks forward to our Jamaican vacations.  THANK YOU!

Hi Elise,

 We had such a great time in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at Beaches Boscubel!  The Honeymoon Suite was right on the beach and every bit worth it!!!  The staff pampered us from morning to night.  The children were so well entertained at Kids Camp that when we tried to pick them up early, they'd beg to stay at camp until dinner instead.  The Sesame Street show runs Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights so we got to watch it two times while we were there.  We made use of the extremely professional Nanny Service one night to go to the adults-only restaurant which was very nice.  Snorkeling out to see the sunken 400+ year old cannon was amazing and the kids got to see it as well on the Glass Bottom Boat Ride!  The water slide park was amazing.  It was suited for children ages 2 through teenagers!  It was nice to have a separate pool for the adults as well.

Elise, you truly have earned the title "Travel Concierge".  You took care to ensure we got the right resort and right room, saving us lots of money and planning an awesome fun-filled trip!

Marcie from Beach Bum Vacation was a great travel agent.  My husband and I waited until the last minute to book our honeymoon and despite this; Marcie was able to work with our budget and our tight time constraints to book a great trip for us.  We were never pressured to move out of our boundaries.  The trip itself, to Sandals Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios Jamaica was perfect for our honeymoon - it was just the trip for which we were looking - lots of sun, good food, good drinks, great service, and a very nice room.  The service at the resort was remarkable and the room was very clean.

We booked a vacation to Italy this past September with Globus Tours through Beach Bum Vacation. Becky Simone was our travel agent and we were so pleased with the help she gave us choosing the right tour for us. We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary and couldn't have gone to a more beautiful Country as Italy. Mark & I had a wonderful time at Tikaye!  Our wedding was perfect & beautiful…..such a beautiful place to get married!  I have attached some of our favorite photos, all the photos turned out good, it’s hard to choose from.  The photographer did a fantastic job, we were very impressed.  As for the resort….I can’t say enough good about them.  Everybody did such above and beyond job!  We had George and Lita as our witnesses for the wedding.  We met a lot of fun people while staying there we are also keeping in touch with one couple and have become good friends. Thank you for recommending this resort to us, we would never have found it on our own.  I know Mark & I are already wanting to plan our trip for next year.  We will get in touch with you soon, once we decide which island we would like to visit.

Just a little note to so thank you for all your time and energy in making our wedding/honeymoon the most memorable it could possibly have been!  The resort was great...food-entertainment-staff and especially the beaches were perfect.  Our ceremony was small, romantic and fun-exactly what we both wanted.....The trip itself was unbelievable...relaxing and such a stress reducer.  We could not have wanted for anything else.  My husband and I both agree, Grand Lido-Negril was by far the most wonderful way to spend our special time together!

Couples Swept Away

Steve, I wanted to let you know we had a great time at Vallarta Palace.  The staff was very nice the entire stay.  The weather was perfect. It never got over 83' & never got cooler than 67'.    The food was good & the service was great.  We had a couples massage outside by the beach overlooking the ocean. We swam with the dolphins & with the sea lions.  The sea lions were definitely the best.  It was awesome.  Our flight was good & our room was great.  There were only a select number of rooms with a full balcony & we were in one of those rooms.  We were both very impressed with the room, the service & the view.  We enjoyed the variety of restaurants.  We were able to get a drink anytime we wanted so that was nice.  I definitely would recommend this location & your services to any one of my friends. Thanks again for all of your help in making our honeymoon so special.

We got your postcard yesterday.  Troy and I had a GREAT time in Mexico.  That hotel is outstanding.  There was nothing more we could've asked for.  Everything was perfect.  We relaxed on the beach almost everyday.  Plus, we enjoyed the swim-up room (free upgrade, thanks).  I attached some of the pictures we took. Hayley - WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!!!!  Tess felt better after the first day and was able to participate in the kids program.  It is everything you said it was and more.  They upgraded our room to the Salt Cay area and we had a beautiful ocean view from our bedroom.  When we go next time (in about 2-3 years) we may request room 719 which was next to us and had full ocean view.

The service and the employees were phenomenal.  In no other place have we had such excellent service.  The girls were in the fashion show and believe it or not, I won the "dance contest".  Oy vey, what a little wine and relaxation will do to you.

Hi Robert,

You were right about the upgrade as soon as we arrived the concierge informed us we were being upgraded to the next room category that included 24 hour room service and a full bar.  The room was gorgeous, and had a spectacular view of the ocean.  The first thing we did was get in the water, we were in shock that it was warm, I think we spent almost half the trip in the water either swimming, windsurfing, or water skiing.  My husband learned how to sail the hobie cats and is now trying to convince me we need to buy a boat.  The service was great and the atmosphere was so relaxed we didn't want to leave.  The wedding planner was great she handled everything so all we had to do was show up.  The pictures turned out great and everyone at home loved seeing the wedding video on-line.   Overall we had a great time and would go back for an anniversary visit in a few years.  Your staff was great with getting everything set up and answered all of our questions before and after the trip.  We will defiantly call you the next time we take a trip.

Hi Robert, we had a great time and thought St. Lucia was more beautiful than our Jamaica trip a couple of years ago.

Some of these pictures are from our snorkeling trip through Sandals, some are from the cruise down the West Coast to the Waterfall and Volcano near the Pitons, and the others are from dinner and while watching the live entertainment after dinner.

Hi Melissa, Thanks for the email and postcard!  Even though our honeymoon started off rocky, you were so helpful in making sure we got on another flight and got to St. Lucia on Monday!  Thank you for being so available when we needed you! Once we go there, our honeymoon in St. Lucia was everything we could have wanted! The Sandals Grand St. Lucian was great!  The room was wonderful! The view from our room was spectacular! When we arrived it was almost 1 AM and we couldn't see the view from our room, but when we woke u, it was amazing!  We are so happy that we chose the concierge level.  Marsha was great and she made sure we got into the restaurants, she made sure our bar got stocked with all of our favorite drinks, and got us in all the excursions we wanted to do! We snorkeled, went on a catamaran ride, Ryan water skied a ton, went on a hike, and a sunset cruise!  Seeing the Pitons in person was so amazing! The pool was great! We got a raft and just floated in the pool with a cold drink everyday!  We had an amazing time! We didn't want to come back!! Thank you so much for suggesting St. Lucia!  We will definitely be visiting St. Lucia again, not to mention we want to try another Sandals too! Thank you so much for all of your help! Hi Robert,  

We had a fantastic time at Grand Velas! It was a perfect spot for us because all we wanted to do was relax. The weather was wonderful during the day (sunny) and then it would rain at night. We actually liked it like that, it was great to sit on the patio and watch it rain. We were delayed in Dallas on the arrival due to bad weather, so we did not get into PVR until around 6ish, but that was the only travel problem.

The spa was our favorite. We did the couples massage, scalp massage, and foot massages. It was top notch.

We went into town one night and ate at Pipi's restaurant. They have the biggest margarita's I have ever seen. Very good food too!

We were treated like royalty and most workers new us by name. I would say the resort was under 25% full, but that was perfect. No conventions, few children and the restaurants were great.

I have no complainants and would definitely go back. Thanks for working with us and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Dear Alison and Beach Bum Vacation,

Travis and I can't express enough how much we appreciate the effort that you put towards out honeymoon. We couldn't have asked for a more memorable week!  Though, we would have loved to have a few extra days! HA!  Thanks again!

The honeymoon was phenomenal!  First of all, we did not even know where St. Lucia was until we looked it up on a map.  It made it more exciting too!  We went on the Sulfur Springs Tour.  It was amazing!  We saw the Sulfur Springs, botanical garden, ate St. Lucian food, and went snorkeling.  What a great experience! The rainforest tour sounded amazing too, but we did not have quite enough time.  We heard great things about the tour!

Travis and I really enjoyed having our trip all inclusive! It was not only convenient, but if you are an eater like Travis and I, we could order as much as we wanted to order!  The drinks were a nice touch too!  We traveled, free, to the other two resorts, and their food/activities/setting was just as great!

Thanks for everything, our Honeymoon was amazing! Lance only told me about 50 times that he was having the best time.  The main pool at the regency was down, but we had 2 other pools to choose from and the Grande is AWESOME for the beach and pool. We spent 2 whole days there.  We loved our catamaran tour, food was good, drinks were even better and the people there are soooo, soooo nice. They make you feel very welcome.  If anyone needs any advice on tours, people loved the Booze Cruise, Canopy tour and horse back riding as well. And be sure to attend the session that have that goes over everything about the resort, they have them at like 10am and 5pm everyday, if not, you may feel lost.

Thanks again for talking with us before the trip with all the hurricane craziness, I’m so glad we booked with you and will plan many future trips with you guys!

We just wanted to thank you for all your help with planning our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip to Excellence Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya. Your knowledge and patience with all our questions was truly invaluable!!

The resort was just AWESOME!  The grounds, staff, services, food and drink, beach and pools were all TOP NOTCH!!  It was THE MOST enjoyable and relaxing vacation we have ever taken.  Our week there just flew by, and we didn't want to return to reality!!

And since it was such a special occasion for us, YOU made sure we were treated like royalty!  We had a totally stocked top floor oceanfront suite with amazing views of one of the many pools, beach and Gulf of Mexico.  Our attached photo shows just one of the beautiful views from our balcony.  You SURPRISED us with a framed picture of ourselves from our Wedding Day along with a chilled bottle of champaign awaiting our arrival in our room!  Now how did you get that picture??  Yo
